Sail-boating and fishing are my favorite hobbies. I am never more happy than when I am on the water. I grew up on the coast, and much of my life was spent on the marina. It was my grandfather that instilled such a love of sailing and fishing in me when I was younger. Throughout the year, you can find me out there enjoying myself. There is also this great seafood restaurant right on the docks, that has been there since I was a little kid. My grandpa and I used to go there all the time after we had our fun sailing for the day. It always had the best seafood around, and much of it was fresh caught. They also had a delightful air conditioning system. Walking into the restaurant in the heat of a summer afternoon was so refreshing! My grandfather was good friends with the owner and they would swap fishing tales that they tended to exaggerate for my benefit. There was nothing like kicking back and relaxing in that restaurant, under the cool and breezy air conditioning vent, while enjoying crab cakes, or my favorite: blackened grouper with fried green tomatoes! Many of the other sailors and fishermen really frequented this place quite a bit, not just because of the great food, but because it was simply the place to go at the end of a day at the marina to cool off, and have a few drinks and a good meal.To this day, that seafood restaurant has air conditioning that is as cool and inviting as it was the first time my grandpa took me there years ago!
